Stray (2004)

19 year-old Alicia makes the deci-
sion to leave her small town life
in rural Kentucky for dreams of
a glamorous, big-city future. She
packs her bags and heads out for
New York alone, but her idealistic
fantasy is quickly altered as her car
breaks down just outside of town.
Determined and bold, she searches
for a way to continue forward by
hitching a ride from a stranger; a choice that propels her to a
whole new destination.
